  • How do I add a new question & answer?
    To add a new FAQ follow these steps: 1. Click "Manage FAQs" button 2. From your site's dashboard you can add, edit and manage all your questions and answers 3. Each question and answer should be added to a category 4. Save and publish.
  • Can I insert an image, video, or gif in my FAQ?
    Yes. To add media follow these steps: 1. Enter the app's Settings 2. Click on the "Manage FAQs" button 3. Select the question you would like to add media to 4. When editing your answer click on the camera, video, or GIF icon 5. Add media from your library.
  • Who should I contact for injections?
    DESIRIAL® and/or DESIRIAL® PLUS injections are administered in a medical facility by a legally authorized physician who specializes in reconstructive and functional gynecology, has thorough anatomical knowledge of the treatment site, and experience with injection techniques of filler products.
  • How do I edit or remove the "FAQ" title?
    You can edit the title from the Settings tab in the app. If you don't want to display the title, simply disable the Title under "Info to Display".
  • What is the resulting effect?
    The average expected effect of this type of product is 6 to 12 months. This period may be shorter or longer depending on the profile of the treated areas, the amount injected, the injection technique used and your lifestyle. An additional procedure a few weeks after the first injections can prolong and optimize the results. It is recommended not to inject more than 20 ml of cross-linked hyaluronic acid per person/year. Your doctor will be able to advise you on which DESIRIAL® product is most suitable for your needs. Ask your doctor for information about DESIRIAL® products and make an appointment to start individual treatment.
  • What are the recommendations after the procedure?
    Avoid wet places such as swimming pools, gyms, steam rooms, hot tubs, etc. for 10 days. Avoid intercourse for 5 days. Avoid activities that are likely to put pressure on the treated area (cycling, horse riding, etc.) for several days.
  • What are the contraindications?
    If you are pregnant or breastfeeding. If you have areas with clinical signs of inflammation and/or viral infection (eg: papilloma, herpes), bacterial infection or fungal infection (eg: mycosis) and/or are currently being treated for these pathological conditions. If you have a known hypersensitivity to any of the ingredients (eg: hyaluronic acid or mannitol). Be sure to tell your doctor about your medical history, including any autoimmune diseases or current treatment. If you have hypertrophic scars.   • Are there any side effects?
    Although rare, delayed side effects may occur after the injection, including: - Inflammatory reactions such as redness or swelling, potentially associated with itching and/or pain, especially with pressure. These reactions may last for several days. - Bleeding, tightening of the skin or skin discoloration (discoloration or discolouration) at the injection sites. - Infection (only DESIRIAL® PLUS). - Local mobility of the gel (when injected with DESIRIAL® PLUS). - Hematoma - Rare cases of granulomatous abscess necrosis and hypersensitivity - Difficulty urinating (DESIRIAL® only) - Pain after injection (only with DESIRIAL® PLUS) Also, if you've had genital herpes before, there's a risk that needle sticks can cause a new outbreak. The persistence of any of the above side effects for more than one week or the occurrence of any other side effect should be reported to the doctor as soon as possible. These side effects may require treatment and may take several months to disappear (in the case of injection with DESIRIAL® PLUS). Consult your doctor.
